EARLY GRADE READING ACTIVITY
Funded by USAID and implemented in partnership with RTI International in the districts of Mzimba North. Ntchisi. Lilongwe Rural East and West, Salima, Ntcheu, Balaka, Machinga, Zomba Rural, Blantyre and Thyolo.
The project’s objectives are to improve the capacity of standard 1 to 3 teachers to provide quality reading instruction to learners, to improve the learning outcomes of Standards 1 to 3 learners, to increase parental and community engagement to support student reading and to reduce the repetition and dropout rates in the
early grades by providing a quality learning environment
