CIVIC INVOLVEMENT IN PRIMARY EDUCATION

Funded by Open Society Initiative for Southern Africa (OSISA). The project aimed at strengthening and empowering grassroot level institution with particular focus on School Management Committees and Parent Teacher Association to spearhead meaningful and sustainable civic Involvement In development of schools. One breakthrough realized through the program in Balaka was the empowerment of School Management Committees who were provided with financial management skills and were able to manage their own Projects.
