Dr Foster Kholowa last Wednesday bid farewell to Creative Centre for Community Mobilization (CRECCOM), which he served for over 11 years as a Board Chairperson.
In his farewell speech during the dinner farewell ceremony organized by CRECCOM at Ku Chawe Hotel in Zomba, Kholowa thanked CRECCOM for working together with him during his period as a Chairperson.
He urged CRECCOM to remain united and work together and achieve meaningful developments.
Speaking on behalf of the organization, Executive Director for CRECCOM, Madalo Samati, appreciated Kholowa for the leadership he has depicted to
the organization during the time he served as a Board Chairperson for the organization.
“Kholowa is a peacemaker, humble, supportive, inspiring and encouraging person, and listens to everyone in an organization regardless of the position. This really inspired me a lot,” said Samati
Samati could not hide her excitement to describe on how Kholowa has transformed CRECCOM.
“Since he joined CRECCOM, a lot of achievements have been done. CRECCOM is renowned as one of the powerful NGOs. We met donors, partners and international NGOs and now they are talking high of CRECCOM. His leadership also allowed staffs of the organization to go for further studies and acquire more knowledge of which other boards cannot allow their staffs to do so,” said Samati.
Agreeing with Samati, CRECCOM’s Senior Project Manager for Action Research, Nephitaly Benister, described Kholowa as a person who possesses good leadership and has passion.
